My wife and I were coming back on our cruise we took for our Honeymoon and on the way into the port we had pretty much a full day to do something before getting to the airport since our 1st Deep Sea fishing trip we took before the cruise was a bust due to waters being too rough we decided to just call a bunch of fishing charters and see if we could find one that could take us out that day I knew it was a shot in the dark but worth a try. Mark the Shark was the 1st one we called and turns out he had just had a cancelation 40min prior and that was going to be one of his very far and in-between days off but after hearing our story he quickly changed his mind and said 'We're going fishing! A testament to his great character. We were both so excited to have our 2nd chance and it did not disappoint My wife and I both caught trophy fish I caught a 82 inch Sailfish and she caught a 38 inch Kingfish! Captain Mark and 1st mate Ryan were really knew what they were talking about and how to catch big fish not too mention really great guys! We already plan to schedule another trip with them next time we are in FL THIS TIME FOR SHARK!

WORST experience ever. I called him and booked a charter for a male bachelor party. Told him we weren't much into catching sharks, but instead wanted to know if he trolled for sailfish, dolphin & wahoo. He said yes, that was no problem. All of us are big into fishing every weekend on our own boats, Just wanted a nie day out being catered to where we didnt have to do all the work. Then he told me that he would have waters on the boat, we needed to bring our own food and alchohol. And that he would have 2 girls in bikinis serving drinks if we wanted. And I said yes. Morning of the charter we arrived, and the "girls" he had was a 4 year old & 6 year old. Most of the guys have kids, this was supposed to be a weekend away from kids and now we had 2 that hung out with us on the boat the whole time. So it made it awkward for us to drink infront of them and have fun. He pulled up to a bait boat and made us buy our own bait, usually when I go on charters the bait is included with the price. The captain didn't have 1 bottled water on the boat, we brought a pack of small gaterades and the children, first mate & captain drank most of our drinks. He never once tried to push himself as a captain. We drifted, and I again reminded him we didn't car for sharks, he told me "This is a shark fishing boat". While we were fishing he was posting pictures and videos up on his instagram page saying how "great" of a day he was having offshore Miami. We asked to go back in early because we were tired of sitting. We got to the dock and he told us charter was $1200, but we paid $1000 because we mentioned we followed his instagram page. Then we mentioned how on his site he gives discounts to firefighters & police force, having one of each on the boat we pulled out proof, and he DIDNT give a discount at all, and even though we came in at 2:30 instead of the full day, he still charged us for a full day.

If I could put -5* I would. The day begins when we arrive, even though we contacted him the day before by telephone, after having reserved on the internet. He tells us to come at 8am. The next day at 8am we arrive, we are not well received by Mark who explains to us that he has 2 reservations at the same time (which is not our fault per se), but he is losing patience and is quite unpleasant faced with our difficulty in understanding because we are foreigners. The other group arrives, there are 8 of them and 2 of us. It's still quite a crowd. We leave at sea at 9 a.m., and he tells us to return to port at 4 p.m. We had booked 5 hours of fishing so we were delighted. *Note that his crew is really great, especially Russ who was there that day, a great guy who takes the time to chat, even if you are strangers*. We paid $900 for a fishing trip, and once at sea, we spent our time from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. watching others fish, there were too many of us. I would like to point out that at no time were we able to touch a fishing rod even though we paid a very high price for a fishing trip, can someone explain to me? When we talk to Mark about it he shrugs his shoulders and tells us to come back the next day except that our trip is planned and it's that day that we wanted to fish.. Obviously after our request, no compensation or other is planned, we can spend our $900 very deep I think because we will never see them again. We had neither water nor frame with our "catch" necessarily, although we would have had to try to fish something to get a photo. Quite honestly, I've never seen such a mediocre performance, it's incredible. We booked on HelloTicket, it was very well rated but looking on Google I see that people may have also had bad experiences! That reassures me, we're not the only ones. It's really not legal! Not to do it again, we are disappointed and disgusted with our day, I don't even have the words. I strongly advise against it!

Let me guess you are FRENCH?? You couldnt even hold the rod the correct way. You offered the kids to catch the 10 foot tiger shark which they did. You tangled up all our equipment during your trip. I suggest to stick to sipping french wine by the poolside next time you visit miami beach.
