Chaz was certainly friendly and very knowledgeable, but this tour wasn't really what we expected. Since it's entitled the Hamilton MUSICAL Walking Tour I would have thought you would have let us enjoy the music a bit more. It was so frustrating that every time Chaz played a clip of the music HE SANG OVER IT in our ears. We would try to turn the music up to hear the song better and all it did was make him louder in our ears. That was really annoying to listen to by the end and disappointing that we couldn't enjoy the music more. Also, this tour was advertised in one place as a 1 1/2 hour tour and in another as a 2 hour tour . . . We were told right as we started that the tour would last THREE HOURS!!!! Now, he did ask if anyone had a conflict . . . and we didn't have a specific conflict other than the fact that it took ALL MORNING! We brought our 9 year old along because we thought that she would enjoy the music and could easily handle 1 1/2 to 2 hours for a tour...3 hours was too much! Now, before you say this review was written by someone who only wanted to hear music . . . that is not the case. Our kids ages 16, 13 and 9 enjoy history and loved our vacation to Washington DC and the tours we did there . . . one of the main reasons we did the tour was to learn more about the history of NYC . . . but again, 3 hours is way too long for a tour like this. . . even my husband and I were over it by the time the 3 hours expired. Chaz was very knowledgeable, we'll give him that, the information he gave was very thorough and we did like some of the new things we learned about the city and the story of Alexander Hamilton. . . this tour would have been much better if it were just under 2 hours and if we could have heard the music instead of his voice.
