Огляд

The ultimate multi activity package: a helicopter tour, a dogsled tour and a landing on the lower glacier to explore the melt pools and crevasses.

Start this adventure with a spectacular helicopter ride over glaciers and icebergs. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and mountain goats. Land on a huge snow field high on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with Alaskan sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer long. Take the dog team for an exhilarating dogsled ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush your own dog team if you want, or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team.

After the tour the helicopter takes you to the lower glaciers where you will land on the hard ice between the crevasses to see the majestic blue melt pools.

Total Tour time 2 hours - 1 hour on the glacier with dogsledding (aprox 30 min sled ride) and 30 min at the lower glacier near the crevasses and blue melt pools. Aprox 30 min of flight seeing total round trip

Alaska Helicopter Tours has Robinson 44s and ASTAR helicopters. We never guarantee the type of helicopter you will be flying in unless a private helicopter option is purchased. Parties with multiple separate bookings, or parties over 2 passengers may be in 2 helicopters, but will always be together for the tour.

Definitely the highlight of our Alaska trip! This tour and experience is 100% worth the price. The views from the helicopter truly show you why Alaska is worth visiting. The dogs and their guides are incredible, so helpful and super fun to try. Would definitely suggest landing on the lower glacier…it’s an unmatched experience. A HUGE thank you to our pilot/captain Mattihas Dietrich, geniunely the most helpful and kind guide. He’s super funny and great conversation. Definitely made our trip worth.

What an amazing day we will all remember for a long time! Perfect sunny weather too! We did the dog sledding which was really interesting and fun, then the lower glacier landing - truly incredible to see the glacier close up and all the textures/ melt areas. The views were insane from the helicopter. An expensive trip (we really agonised over the cost) but in the end well worth it and a real once in a lifetime experience.

Dog sledding on a glacier with pilot Michael Brooks was an unforgettable adventure! Michael was not only super friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. Meeting the dogs was the best part!! The sled ride was so fun and the dogs were so eager and excited. Highly recommend this unique adventure for anyone visiting the region!
