This show was really amazing and exceeded my expectations!!!The story was powerful and the singing gave you chills!!! The staff were also very friendly and helpful. My kids who are all teens loved it so much that we stayed after the show so they could get autographs and pictures with the cast. I recommend this to anyone who is visiting New York and wants an experience to remember!

Absolutely loved this. Of course the music was amazing, but the storyline was very good insight into Alicia Keyes life. She had a strong mother and community but her father was very weak, not really ever able to count on him.

The leads were very good to great. The problem is that the choreography was horrible. Really really bad and took away from the story. There were times that we just wanted to wipe the dancers off the stage to focus on the story and the leads. It was almost like the director and producers hadn’t watched the show. Too bad for the leads whose performances were interrupted and overshadowed numerous times by horrific choreography.
