Welcome to our Winter Park neighborhood on this beautiful day! While many well-known celebrities have passed through this storied village over its rich history, probably no one impacted, and was impacted by, Winter Park more than Fred McFeely Rogers, lovingly known the world over to millions of people as the unforgettable host of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood for over 50 years now.

Come along on our Mister Rogers Walking Tour as we visit the heart of town where Fred and his lifetime sweetheart, Sara Joanne Byrd Rogers, fell in love while in college and spent many years later in life. You’ll learn the fascinating story of how this humble man from Latrobe, PA connected with Winter Park and began a lifetime ministry of service.

Walk in the same places that Fred and Joanne did through different seasons of their life, and then wrap your visit up with a one-hour boat tour of Winter Park, passing by some of the places that you visited by land and others further away from the walking tour!

Thank you for your very kind words, and for spending part of your New Year's Eve holiday with us and learning about Mister Rogers' amazing story! Rich is a very passionate guide and know his stuff! We will pass your compliments on! Also don't forget Mister Rogers' Week of Kindness will be holding many events April 1 - 6 in the Orlando area if you are around, including a concert of his music at the John M Tiedtket Concert Hall on Rollins campus (which you probably visited on your tour).

What fun! We are locals who just wanted to learn more about our community and needed a diversion from " life". Rich did not disappoint. The boat ride gave wind to our souls!

We really enjoyed the tour. Rich’s wealth of knowledge and the easy way he tells the history of Winter Park and his many insights into little known family dynamics of the Rodgers’ family was engaging. Some especially fond memories were hallways of Rollins College and the statue of Mr Rogers and the kids. We loved every minute. Time well spent. Reminds us that there is always something new to discover. The boat tour and lunch on our own rounded out a memorable day.
