Jet Boat Tour through the Wild River Section of the Snake River in Hells Canyon - South Entrance - Hells Canyon Dam. The Wild River Section is where you find the largest rapids, where the canyon is at its deepest elevations, and the scenery transitions from rock walls at the bottom, to high dessert grasslands in the middle, to alpine forests at the top. Your Captain will entertain you with stories about early Native Americans and ranching families that called Hells Canyon home.

We went on the full day jet boat trip and had a fabuous time. The guides were informative and friendly. We were lucky enough to see bald eagles, mountain goats, and big horn sheep. Wonderful time.

We really enjoyed our trip down and up the Snake River. The rapids were pulse-pounding and of course we all got wet to some degree. This is one of those "bucket list" experiences and we were super glad to have done it. Warning: It is a seriously long drive out to the middle of nowhere to get to the launching point at Hells Canyon Dam. It is worth it, but be prepared!

It was a great trip. We can cross that one off our bucket list. Dusty and Jake took wonderful care of us. They even let us ride on the John Deer to get us to the lunch spot at Sheep Creek Ranch. Awesome!
