Once an elevated rail line, the High Line fell into a state of decay upon being decommissioned in 1980. Today, this 1.45 mile long park is considered an icon of landscape architecture and design. All the food was amazing and Claire was so funny and extremely knowledgeable. Her sense of humor and passion for the deep history of NYC was charming and entertaining.

We recently took this High Line and Greenwich food tour with Claire and had an awesome experience. Not only was the High Line beautiful this time of year, and all of the foot yummy, but Claire was a wealth of knowledge. She had stories, history, and many pictures to share. She really brought the history alive. I would readily recommend either or both of these tours to any of my friends visiting the area. If you enjoy history and want to see some great sights in this area of the city, I’d recommend this tour group.

This was a fascinating and fun tour. Our guide Alex knew so much history and shared many stories about the area. We had a small group so plenty of opportunity to ask questions and be part of the action. The walking wasn’t onerous and it was great value for money. We stayed on to do a second tour of Greenwich Village and were treated to more if Alex’s expertise as well as some fantastic food. We loved every minute - thank you Alex!
