A great time in Hilo seeing and learning about the effects of volcanos and lava formations. Our guide Dave was the best. He took us to so many different areas of the island and was very knowledgeable with the subjects at hand. We were fascinated with all the lava formations. Were able to explore a lava tubing cave and visit a black lava bleach. Well worth the trip make sure you get Dave for the best experience on Hilo island.

This was an amazing tour! Lenora Aitchison was a phenomenal guide, very knowledgeable, told stories/fables from the island, thoughful and shared the soul of the island with the tour.

We had expected a large bus but were pleasantly surprised to travel in a van, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our guide, Junior, was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and talented—he even serenaded us with his ukulele! He thoughtfully provided us with a bottle of water and a snack and captured wonderful photos for us. I highly recommend him!
