Upon arrival we asked about stickers to hop on and off and were told that wasn’t offered. As it turns out, our tour did allow us to get on and off but we could not take advantage of that perk, as we’re did not have the stickers to re-board the trolley.
Once we began, our tour driver stopped the tour to reprimand the children on board for talking. Instead of asking his customers to stop talking, he chose to embarrass them by saying “If you want to talk, I won’t give the tour. I can drive around without talking. Which would you prefer?” Even after talking had ceased he continued to yell, “Which would you prefer?“ until someone responded, explaining that they were making sure all the children’s medication was accounted for. The entire trip was then spent in silence, as children of all ages were too scared to make a sound. It was not an enjoyable for trip for anyone.
I would recommend Old Town Trolley Tours (the green and orange trolleys) over the Old Savannah Tours (white trolleys). I have used Old Town Trolley Tours in several cities (including Savannah) in the past and they always provide a family friendly environment.
