I only had 1 day in Pittsburgh so this was the best way to see the city. I got on at the PNC Park stop and paid onboard. I rode the bus for almost the whole circuit but chose to get off at the Duquesne Incline. The Duquesne Incline is the best way to see the city from above so I definitely recommend this stop! I was so pleased with the tour that I have to give a shout out to Shawn! He was friendly, informative, and funny. It was rainy (off and on) so we sat upstairs for a bit but when it started raining we came back downstairs. On our circuit it was just me and my dad so it was nice to have the personalized attention and he was able to answer all of our questions! Great job Shawn! **I think it is important for people to know that the bus only comes around to each stop about once an hour. If you just missed the bus at a stop, you will be waiting for a while. Other cities have busses coming by every 15-30 minutes but Pittsburgh is different. Not a deal breaker just something to keep in mind. If I was doing this again, I would definitely get off at Grandpa Joe's stop (#11) and explore that area. This and the incline are a must do. Don't forget to tip your guide!

We purchased the hop on hop off pass and used it as a tour and a way to get between locations, so ended up riding 2 full loops, and it was a great value. All employees were helpful and friendly, especially the employee at the Station Square kiosk who was super cool. They are very conscious of staying close to schedule - we arrived to each stop a few minutes early and never had to wait more than a few extra minutes. Because we went during peak season, a bus came every 50 minutes which was very convenient. We took advantage of the free gift at Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop (an old fashioned candy stick) and the discount at Claddagh Irish Pub.

This tour was really good. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and they cover a LOT. Very informative. We rode the entire route plus repeated a little bit with our hop on hop off pass. The perfect way to see everything the city has to offer and then decide where you want to spend more time.
