I did the 8 AM half-day float trip to Horseshoe Bend. I booked online, and forgot to print my waiver form but it was no big deal. You have a little orientation in their building before leaving on a tour bus that takes you to Lee's Ferry. The ride was almost an hour and was comfortable and scenic. Once there, you load onto the raft and you're off! It was quite chilly when we started and the guide warned that if you sit up front, you could get a little wet. By the time we reached Horseshoe Bend, everyone was removing their jackets because the temperature change was drastic. The raft docks at Petroglyph beach for about 30 minutes and you can either hit the restrooms, eat a snack that you've brought, jump in the water to cool off or take a short hike to see the Petroglyphs. Then you head back down the river to where you started. Tia was the guide and she was great. She was friendly, informative and made the trip enjoyable. I was hoping to see some wildlife, but only saw a wild horse. I was glad that I did the morning tour, because when we got back to Lee's Ferry to catch the bus back to Page, it was noon and it was extremely hot out. It was so beautiful to see the canyon from this viewpoint. You won't regret taking this trip, it was well worth it!

Kris was our tour guide and she was amazing. So knowledgable and funny. Took plenty of time so everyone could get photos as she told about the history of the canyon. We were lucky enough to see the wild horses, sheep, birds and even a bat sunbathing on a rock. Great trip. Dave was our bus driver and we enjoyed hearing him point out interesting thing along our trip to and from the canyon
