Our guide Alex was a very knowledgeable and very nice guy We enjoyed all the places he took us to see The only downside of the whole day was the ridiculous situation of only having one gate to walk back into the USA and the very very long lineup that took over an hour to finally get through the first gate

This was a walking trip and after some confusion we met our guide over the border. It’s worth clarification before you are standing around on the SD side, outside McDs. Nevertheless, once the tour started it was interesting and informative. We had a chance to experience the local life and foods and drink. There are plenty of opportunities to shop if that’s what you want. It is a good introduction to the real Mexico not the tourists destinations of Cancun etc

We found it slow moving and it took too long. It was good to have a guide take us through many of the key areas of Tijuana and get some history. I’d have been fine to skip the museum. We enjoyed going through the traditional markets. I’d have skipped the included lunch and mediocre tequila tasting - or gone with a full food/drink tour. Beware that - regardless of what tour you take - it can take an hour standing in line to get back across the border.
