The Melting Point is a new, state-of-the-art facility featuring a fine art gallery, a lamp working studio and fully equipped hotshop. We eat, sleep, and breath glass, and it's our delight to share this passion with the community. Our staff is as diverse as the beautiful Sedona desert landscape. Coming from a broad range of educational backgrounds, our glassblowers can tell you everything you would ever want to know about the science and art of glass.

When we booked this class, it was described as a one hour experience to make a flower. When we arrived, we found out that there were many other options, many with an upcharge, and that one hour wasn't sufficient time to really enjoy the full experience. Unfortunately, we had booked another activity after the class and didn't have the time to stay for the entire time. They understood our situation and were so good about working with us to get the most out of our limited time. It is an enjoyable class and I would be interested in returning for an extended workshop to learn more about the process. Highly recommend this experience but be sure to allow sufficient time to observe all of the other participants execute their chosen projects to optimize it.

That might seem like an exaggeration given the stunning outdoor beauty of Sedona, but it's true. We took this class with one other couple on 10/6/19- we went first and enjoyed the flowers we made. We stayed and watched (but we didn't have to) to see them make a pumpkin and a bowl. VERY COOL. But I must say- without Austin's excellent and fun personality, it wouldn't have been as fantastic. The experience plus Austin made it the best thing we did in Sedona. Thanks again. And don't forget to tip Austin! He deserves it. ~Holly from Knoxville, TN
