Just north of Palm Springs lies one of nature's majestic creations, Joshua Tree National Park. In the comfort of an enclosed, climate-controlled vehicle your guide will take you on an extensive all paved road tour through the stunning rock formations and otherworldly landscape of the Mojave Desert.
This activity has a 2 person requirement for the tour to run. If you are a single rider, please call first.
NOTICE: EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2025 ALL JOSHUA TREE TOURS WILL REQUIRE GUESTS TO PAY THEIR OWN $15 ENTRY FEE UPON ENTERING THE PARK. ENTRY FEES WILL NO LONGER BE INCLUDED IN THE BIG WHEEL TOURS PRICING. PLEASE COME PREPARED WITH A FORM OF PAYMENT (CREDIT CARD) TO ACCOMMODATE THIS NEW POLICY. THANK YOU!

I actually never write reviews (too lazy, sorry :)), but here I can't skip that. ...Because attending this tour was one of the best decisions I could do! I don't have a driver license and I was staying in L.A. for a few days. Since it's not really recommended visiting Joshua Tree by foot (I agree now!) I was searching for a "driver" - and found Big Wheels Tours. I took a Flixbus from L.A. and then had a wonderful afternoon with my guide. We humanly connected really nicely and spent beautiful 4 hours together. The guide was also really knowledgeable. Join these tours, I can only recommend!

Kolin was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and professional. He took us to all the best spots. This trip was ideal for us being that my wife is pregnant and the walking we did do was very manageable. Going at 7AM was a really good idea because we avoided crowds, lines at the gate, and the temperature was nice.
