Just north of Palm Springs lies one of nature's majestic creations, Joshua Tree National Park. In the comfort of an enclosed, climate-controlled vehicle your guide will take you on an extensive all paved road tour through the stunning rock formations and otherworldly landscape of the Mojave Desert.
This activity has a 2 person requirement for the tour to run. If you are a single rider, please call first.
NOTICE: EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2025 ALL JOSHUA TREE TOURS WILL REQUIRE GUESTS TO PAY THEIR OWN $15 ENTRY FEE UPON ENTERING THE PARK. We ended up being the only two guests on the tour. Our guide, Jeff, was a fantastic host, going out of his way to make us comfortable and tailor the tour to our interests and needs. He was so impressively knowledgeable on a wide range of topics on the park and the region more broadly.

The guide was great but we only saw about three sights before turning around and coming back and I couldn't understand why it was only half a day tour when there was so much more to see. I wanted to do a full-day tour but this doesn't appear to be offered. The price I paid is the same or more than other whole day tours I've been on and really isn't worth the money. Great to see Joshua Tree but rather disappointing.

Hello Rachel....we are sorry that you felt the tour was too short. The park is big, about the same size as Rhode Island at 1200 square miles and we find that for most guests 5 hours door to door is as much time as most guests want to spend driving in a car. It is true that say, an 8 hour tour would cover more ground in the park but wouldn't appeal to most tourists, in our experience. We did raise our prices a bit this year to account for the additional time that tour takes (it is the longest tour we offer), increased fuel prices (California's are the highest in the nation), and of course the entry fee to the park.
