We researched a lot of Luaus and are extremely happy we went with Ka Moana Luau. The biggest complaints with most Luaus are that they are crowded, the food is mediocre, and the show seems routine/repetitive. The layout was done well and it did not feel crowded at all. The food was good; not five star hotel good but I have had sit down meals not as good as their food. All the performers appeared to genuinely enjoy what they were doing which made it great fun. This was a very interactive experience. Before dinner there were many activities that kept my family entertained and engaged. During dinner the performers were still doing the activities and engaging with everyone. And during the show the audience was engaged throughout. My 7 year old son danced the entire time and once they allowed people on stage he was one of the first ones up there. The Luau is about 45 minutes from Waikiki but they have designated pickup spots that you can take a tour bus over to the luau. This was a great amenity. The drive over there is beautiful and the backdrop of the location is great. We will definitely do Ka Moana Luau again when we go back.

This was our first luau, and on our honeymoon at that! It was so much fun and the cast /crew is so very involved in making your night great. The performers were amazing and interactive, and the chief is HILARIOUS! The show was so cool and interactive, they had lots of activities to do while meeting the crew. The food was also out of this world amazing. The pork is to die for, I don't think I've ever had such good pork before. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely go back again.
