I rate this Luau a 2 of 5 considering Food, Service and Entertainment. The entertainment was enjoyable, a typical Luau performance. We've been to several Luaus at Maui, Oahu, Kona and Kauai, and this luau was clearly the worst. From experience, among standard Hawaiian food at a luau includes teriyaki steak, poi, taro rolls, chicken long rice, macaroni salad along with other items. This luau had none of those I just listed, but it did have steamed veggies, fish, pulled pork, bowl of salad greens and bottle of dressing, one fruit (pineapple chunks), one dessert Haupia. See pic for the posted food items. But basically, this was the weakest spread of food we've ever seen at a luau. As for service, there was absolutely no table service. I understand that COVID has placed limitations on table service, but there was zero effort to bus tables or remove used plates or trash from the dining area. Many people just left their empty plates spread around tables, while other cleared their own space so they could watch the show without empty food dishes in front of them. The one dessert was Haupia and bottles of Hersheys syrup, when emptied were never refilled. We went up after eating the main course to find an empty dessert area.
