Excellent Luau! This was the 4th one I've been to. We have been to Paradise Cove, Polynesian Cultural Center, and I forget the other one and this one. I was a little nervous about it being in Sea Life Park, however, it was super easy to find and an easy 45 minute drive from our Waikiki hotel. We got there early (it's our nature) and no one was anywhere to be seen - not even at the parking booth. We parked and then "wandered" near the ticket gate but there was not a soul in sight, except for 3 or 4 other couples doing the same thing we were......This eventually was the right spot and they did start charging $10 for parking around 440pm. We walked up to the booth and told them we already parked (we're honest like that especially appreciative of the Hawaiian people and the hardships Covid has caused) but the booth attendant told us - if you got here before me, NO CHARGE!
We entered the waiting area and then were escorted down to the luau seats. We had front row at the VIP table and it was an amazing experience.
Photos turned out beautiful and once inside you did not know you were in an adventure park anymore.
The food we thought was excellent especially compared to others we've been to. We tried a little bit of everything with NO complaints. The drinks were also excellent and we got a welcome Mai Tain along with 2 free drinks with our VIP package per person.
The show was also very good and we really enjoyed it. All of the dancers and singers were top notch including Cousin Jerry and Cousin Manna!!! We had a great time, we were there about 4 hours and it went by too fast we had that great of a time!! The fire dancers were also excellent. Other than lack of signage for "where" to go for checkin for Luau when you are early like us, I have nothing negative to say, this one was GREAT!!
