Children tour fare is valid for kids 7-12 . We do not allow children under 7, including infants in carriers, as this experience is best suited for older children and adults. We invite families with younger children to visit our new Lydgate Chocolate Tasting Room in downtown Kapaa: now open Monday – Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Please list the age of your child or children when making a reservation. We only allow children over 7 years old.
Farm visits require a tour reservation (we do not offer self-guided tours). Visit our tasting room in Kapaa town instead!
Please no children under 7.

Our guide, Mason, had a great sense of humor that adding to the enjoyment of the tour. He was knowledgeable and had a relaxed delivery so we didn’t feel at all rushed.

Amazing, informative, and beautiful. Chocolate, fruit, and honey tasting was yummy. Jess and Sherry did a wonderful job of explaining the history and process of growing chocolate. My husband and I enjoyed our time and plan to go back on our next trip to Kauai.

Wow! What an unexpected surprise for us! Jess – our Tasting Tour guide - has a passion for cacao!! Our tour provided an in-depth look into the making of chocolate by walking through the farm where their trees grow. They have several well-maintained pavilions where we were able to sit and hear presentations from Jess. These varied from the philosophy of the Lydgate family and their respect for the land and sustainability of their farm to NUMEROUS samples of honey and naturally – chocolate! You will come away with an understanding between the difference with “Artisan Chocolate” … candy. You will taste the difference!!!!
