During this tour you’ll experience 3 different types of water; lake, slow moving creek, and glacial river. Your guide will provide you with some knowledge of local history, lore, and animal patterns in the area. You are likely to see Moose crossing the creek, Dall sheep in the mountains, Bald Eagles nesting in the trees along the shore, and potentially black bears nearby! The Knik River valley boasts beautiful mountain views, distant waterfalls, and glaciers!

It was a beautiful and relaxing trip. It was the perfect ending to an action packed trip. Sadly, the wildlife was not cooperating but it was still a great trip. The guides were friendly, shared interesting facts and gave suggestions for other things to do. We enjoyed the Thunderbird Falls hike per their suggestion.

Well, the company messed up our schedule. We scheduled it over the phone for the next day and they scheduled it 2 days ahead. So we got there and no one was around. We r very grateful that the owner still gave us the tour a few hours later. No Icebergs or waterfalls to see up close though. But overall was relaxing.

I’m so sorry your booking company failed to book the correct date, but for clarity, that was trip advisor/viator, not us. And as you said, my husband did accommodate your arrival and take you on the trip! Also, there are no icebergs advertised on this trip, though you can stop at the mouth of Jim Creek for a photo with the beautiful Knik Glacier in the back ground. I see your husband did give us a four star review, so maybe there was some miscommunication. I hope your Alaskan adventure was fulfilling!

Jeremy took good care of us and was an easy going guy. Our booking online was set up wrong. The date that we set over the phone was pushed to the next day. The mix up meant we weren’t going to be able to experience it. Jeremy still went the extra mile and helped do a later time the same day for us. The experience was fun and relaxing and even my kids could handle it with no problems. My girl and I got to see them have a lot fun and while enjoying everything ourselves at a pretty chill pace. They are single person kayak, so talk with them if you can for your kids if you were hoping they would be kayaks for pairs, but it was worth the time. Thanks again for the good time Jeremy
