Національний ліс Тонгас

Після десятка років проведення турів на байдарках у Кетчікан ми постійно дивуємося кількості відвідувачів, які ніколи не ступали в Дощовий ліс. Наш тур на електровелосипеді виник із бажання залучити більше відвідувачів у цей дивовижний дощовий ліс. З майже 200 дюймами опадів на рік справді немає такого пишного й унікального місця, як південно-східна Аляска. Лісова підстилка багата всілякою флорою та фауною, і залежно від пори року нерідко можна побачити оленів або лосося, що пливуть угору за течією. Час у порту для більшості людей дуже обмежений, тому ми хотіли максимально збільшити час, об’єднавши кілька видів діяльності в цьому турі. Крім того, ми хотіли запропонувати більше, ніж просто піший тур. Тож ми зробили поїздку до початку стежки половиною пригоди. І як же нам на зворотному шляху не зупинитися на березі моря? Побачити з пляжу морських свиней, тюленів і морських левів, а іноді й горбатих, не чутно.
