Required – Florida Boaters Safety: Florida Law requires everyone born after Jan 1, 1988 to take a boaters safety test to drive a jetski. Each driver must present a passed boaters safety test prior to departure. Tests only take 15 minutes & can be taken online

The guides were knowledgeable. We went in with 0 experience from Kansas. We struggled at first, but they taught us to only use one arm to steer (the other arm overcompensates). It’s also way smoother the faster you go …. Until you hit a wave haha. That helped a lot and we had a lot of fun afterwards! You follow each other in a line, but the guides put us in order based who they wanted to go faster. The slower people were put in the back as to not impede anyone else who wanted more speed. You do have to take a boating course before you can ride, it’s $15 and relatively intuitive. My husband loved the ride, I wish we would have shared one jet ski rather than both had our own but we both still had fun.

Marshall and team were excellent guides. They prioritized fun and safety allowing each rider to set their own pace. They also did a great job showing some key features around Key West.

We did this tour as a family over the holidays. We booked three jet skis for a family of five. The guides were very much focused on speed and too quickly divided everyone into three separate groups. Unfortunately, our family was split across all three groups for most of the tour. Our son who was in the fastest group had a great time -- they also saw more as they covered more ground. The rest of the fam didn't see as much and the "tour" part consisted of hearing about the guide's favorite restaurant, the trash dump, and where not to send your kid to college. To be fair, the guides were (mostly) nice guys and were managing a big group (maybe 18-20). If you're a group of speed demons, this may be the tour for you. In the future, we'll look for a smaller tour.
