5 friends chartered the boat Bite Me 4 with THE BEST crew. Captain Curtis and Juda immediately felt like our friends right from the welcoming greeting and it only got better from there. Let me just say that Juda is very passionate, knowledgeable and informative about his job. He's an artist and it was great to watch the whole production of attaching, casting and setting up all of the reels, changes to the lures and to watch the water for signs. He's on the job instantly when the line hits, honestly he was at the reel from the top of the boat before I even blinked an eye. Captain and Juda also did a special memorial tribute to our friends dog who had recently passed. They wanted to spread some of his ashes and the cap & crew went above and beyond. Here is the review they wrote "Captain Curtis and Juda were such great guys giving us the perfect and most memorable ceremony at sea. Two flags raised to half-staff while looping around Briggs’ ashes. Grateful to our dearest friends there with us on this trip, and to capture such a special moment ❤️" We were all touched and moved to tears at this experience. As for fishing, we did get 2 hits though we didn't hook anything, but that didn't matter to us because we caught something more valuable. It's the memories we caught from this charter that will last our lifetime. MAHALO Captain & Juda, you two are top notch. Suggestions: 1.Take motion sickness meds the night before. 2. Bring sunscreen and a hat. #3 pack a cooler with sandwiches abs drinks. And #4 Is Very Important- TIP the crew, they work hard to make your trip a great time give them the gratitude they deserve.

We tried Bite Me Sportfishing on Big Island. Pros: - Good boat for fishing Cons: - They are NOT using a real bait, therefore much lower rate to catch the fish - They tackle and bait are oriented on very big fish only, so you will be missing all the fish bellow 150-300 lb. - Very expensive Result you will achieve with Bite Me Sport Fishing: you will spend around $500+ and will come back home with empty hands and money lost

Tara the Terrible To say it mildly, very disappointing. We’ve used this company in the past many times and send most of our clients to them. The captain we had today, I think her name was Tara should be named Tara the terrible and if you ever get her ask for your money back and run for the hills.    She was obnoxious from the first time I walked up to the boat, She was late to begin with and God I wish I would’ve walked away. I took my party of six including family and business friends on the boat and this woman would not shut up and it seemed like all she wanted to do was abrade, belittle and nitpick everybody on the boat, Super obnoxious. I am not going to go through the litany of subpar professionalism the list is ridiculously too long   I do feel sorry for uncle Walter our deck hand he has been doing this for the better part of 30 years because it did affect how much he was tipped. I can only imagine how badly she treats tourists because we actually live on the island.   Please Think twice before you send this captain out because we have had excellent experiences with your company in the past and now I question my past loyalty to the company. It’s a small big Island. I would send her back to Oahu
