Our tour was very disorganized, there were so many kayaking groups out in the water that it was difficult to stick together. We also lost our tour guide multiple times, she took off her staff shirt so it was hard to pick her out in a crowd, and she seemed more interested in talking and gossiping about “not getting tips” with her coworkers than she did about telling us where to go. The water was very rough that day and it was obvious there were people in the group who were inexperienced kayakers, and the tour guides offered no tips on how to maneuver in the water. Two kayaks wound up flipping. We also didn’t get to go in the caves. Just save your money, you have a better chance of seeing the caves just by walking around the Cove

No tour guide- I should have just rented the kayak. I purchased a tour guide because I had my daughter with me, we rented the wet suits, bought the water proof bags, locker/ another 76 dollars. We were told to paddle out about 350 feet and that was all we were told other than how to paddle. We got a push out and off we went- after getting turned around by a wave, we straightened out and paddles forward but did not see our group- another guide told us to head to the green boats we did and they were going into shore. We paddle past the break only to turn back into shore. Our guide was long gone. Our kayak flipped on us and my daughter was hit in the head. There was no one there to help. No one even contact us at any point to see what happened to us. We could have drown in the ocean and no one would have known or cared. We were scheduled 1240-240, we were back on land by 1pm. I’m not sure what kind of tour this was- little explaination and zero accountability. Do not go here if you cannot kayak on your own already. If you get lost- and it’s easy to do- you are on your own! I did not get refunded, i spent in total $160 dollars to paddle out past the waves and back and rescue my daughter. No one knew we were ever missing!!

We were really looking forward to this adventure but it didn’t turn out so well. A few things to note… You do get very wet so come prepared in swimming suits. We booked five single kayaks. They called that morning and asked if we would change to two doubles in a single which we were willing to do. We were to get a refund but have not seen that yet. There were no restrooms in the facility but we were told we could use the restroom when we got down to the beach but there was clearly not time for that. We headed out and were soon soaking wet which was fine, however once we got further out the waves were really not very big at all. However, we were told that we would not be able to enter the caves because of high waves. In looking back over all of the reviews after the trip it appears that rarely does someone actually get to enter the caves. They sell this as a cave tour but it is really an ocean kayaking trip where you get to observe the cliffs. Our guides were friendly but their cheesy jokes and stories about real estate over the cliffs was just moderately entertaining. If you are interested in seeing the caves, I would certainly call and ask what the chances are of actually getting into the caves before you book. We did not find this to be worth the cost.
