Smallmouth bass fishing on Lake Erie is on the most bass anglers bucket list. The smallmouth bass fishing is unquestionably some of the best that has ever been found anywhere, and the Erie PA is the perfect place to experience should a trip. Everyone falls in love with the beauty of the world-renowned Presque Isle State Park. As you approach the waterside you begin to feel the excitement of Lake Erie, but the lakeside park makes it a true fishing adventure with an outstanding destination experience.
The wonderful breeze, cool air, and smell of a Great Lake greet you as you walk from your vehicle to meet your fishing guide.

Seven AM comes early, so don't get to consumed by the local casino and very tasty food options. If you're looking for adventure and to relax on the water you just can't design a better get-a-way for an angler at heart than Lake Erie.

Captain Mark Rose has been a personal friend of mine for a 3-4 years now. Over the past year I took 4 trips with him with business clients of mine. I take my clients with him because its easier than doing it on my boat. He has all the latest & greatest gear & he knows where the fish are on a daily basis! No brainer for me, my clients leave happy, & I get to help a friend make some money. On April 26th of this year 2020 we went fun fishing like we always do when he has some time off & that day I caught my PB smallie of 7.23lbs in the bay! Capt. Mark Rose is the best! Because he's on the lake nearly every day, he knows where the smallmouth lives and is anxious and willing to take you to his spots. He works hard for your enjoyment and satisfaction. I recently took my brother, an avid walleye fisherman, on a trip with Capt. Mark and he immediately became a smallmouth enthusiast. I highly recommend a trip with Bass on line and Cast Mark Rose.

I’ll start by saying I fished the Bassmaster Circuit for 14 years. In that time I had the chance to fish with several fishermen that started their careers as a guide. A few are personal friends with long running National TV shows. Most of them said that guiding fishermen was the toughest thing they ever did. There’s lots of pressure considering things like vacation time, travel time, motel rooms, food, guides fees etc. There are lots of guides around, some stand out, Mark Rose really stands out. Prior to guiding, Mark owned a car and boat detailing business. Once I personally witnessed Mark work on a clients boat for 5 hours. It was in showroom condition when he was done. I say this because Mark’s truck and boat are always in showroom condition. His boat is always clean and organized. He has plenty of organized tackle for changing conditions and plenty of pre rigged rods for many types of fishing. He works both hard and efficiently. It’s easy to see, he really loves what he does, and takes it very seriously. I’ve fished both Okeechobee and Lake Erie with Captain Mark as I call him. I’ve been with him several times when clients called. He is always very courteous and stresses the fact that he will try to accommodate scheduling in any way, and do everything possible to make the trip a success. Mark seems to post pictures of satisfied customers every day on Facebook. I often comment “another day of Captain Mark providing smiles and memories.” If you’re considering a guided fishing trip on Lake Erie or Okeechobee in the winter, I highly recommend getting in touch with Captain Mark Rose.
