Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

Please convey our thanks and encouragement to him. Even though Carolyn didn’t get to hug a bear, she still had a great time. Can’t wait to get our hands On those pics that Max took for us. Keith Price was very friendly, very enthusiastic, and very excited about photography and Lake Tahoe. He was very knowledgeable about the best photographic locations. He was very affordable, and wanted to charge me so little that I ended up reverse bargaining with him, trying to get him to let me pay something close to his usual fee. Unfortunately, health issues sometimes required him to reschedule tours, but he worked hard to make up for any inconvenience caused.

This was my third photographic tour with Keith and it didn't disappoint. I wanted to share the South Lake Tahoe area with friends from England and knew that Keith would be a great guide and that we would have some fantastic photos to remember the day. Keith is a long time Tahoe resident; he knows where to go in each season, how to beat the crowds, when the light is best plus has a lot of information about the history of the area at is fingertips.
