An hour + drive from Vegas. Hidden in the middle of nowhere, you will find a wonderful place to visit. Unique animals that you wouldn't expect to see outside of Vegas. The caretaker is very passionate about the animals. We signed up for the ATV ride and the animals' experience. It was definitely a hands-on experience. We were able to feed and touch the animals. We fed and / or touched a sloth,camels, dwarf dingo dogs,zebra,porcupine,llamas,emu, and the Zamboni. We loved the hands-on experience. Not only did we receive a hands-on experience, but we received an educational lesson with each animal that we touched and fed. Last but not least, we drove/rode in an ATV vehicle by ourselves. We received a quick lesson on how to operate the ATV safely, and we were off!! The ATV ride was very bumpy and very dusty but a lot of fun! We followed the caretaker to the peaceful Virgin River. It was a nice break after the ATV bumpy,dusty ride(which we loved) . There were stops along the ATV ride where you get educational lessons about the river and the land. The safari experience nor the ATV ride was rushed by the caretaker. The camel rides are only offered on the weekend, so we weren't able to do it. The caretaker is very passionate about all the animals, and you can see that the animals are well taken care of. If you sign up for the ATV, heres a warning. It's not for the weak and timid driver. Would I recommend this experience? Yes! Enjoy life and treat yourself to different and unique things in life ✨️
