On this narrated tour, our guides will tell you about the lighthouses of Goat Island, Rose Island, Castle Hill, Lime Rock and the neighboring sites—including the harbor mansions, churches, historic Fort Adams, Jamestown, the Pell Newport Bridge, Clingstone, Hammersmith Farm and more. You may even see a local seal or two in the water!

The boat's main deck is spacious and weatherproof for comfortable cruising and there is a covered top deck with clear, roll-down side curtains, for comfort and great sightseeing.

Cruises depart from Bowen's Wharf, Newport.

We have been coming to Newport for many years but we have never gone on a boat cruise. This year, I booked a mimosa light house trip. It was wonderful. We couldn’t ask for better weather. Weather here in New England can change fast. So we were lucky. My husband and I brought jackets but we didn’t need them. This boat has plenty of sheltered areas. It was large enough to be comfortable and small enough to get around. We were served mimosas as we entered the boat. Not the best I have ever had but still a nice treat while cruising. We had a group of people on board from a bus trip that had many elder passengers with walkers. They were boarded first and carefully helped on by the crew mates. The tour guild, Paula, was very interesting and taught us a lot that we never knew before. The captain and crew were great. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone.

Great tour without committing too much time. Also appreciated the covered deck since it was super sunny and did get warm!

The scenery and information from the narrator are a fantastic combination. I have been on other harbor tours and this one is definitely the best. The boat was very clean and the staff was so friendly.
