We will traverse through the center of Ethiopian life in Washington DC, located in the heart of the historic U Street and Shaw Neighborhoods. The 19th century neighborhood houses some of the area's very best and most authentic Ethiopian restaurants. Chris was very knowledgeable, not just about Ethiopia and its food, but so many other cuisines and locations as well. The food was delicious and very plentiful. Highly recommend this tour!

Chris was a superb guide. He has a wealth of information about Ethiopian cuisine and DC. Even though I was familiar with Ethiopian food, I learned a lot from this tour. And, I found some new Ethiopian restaurants that I will definitely return to for dinner. This is this tour I've taken from DC Metro Food Tours and I highly recommend them.

Chris, a long-term DC resident, was a great guide, knowledgeable not only about Ethiopian food and culture but also about DC and wider US history. My husband and I were part of a small group of 6 people. We visited three restaurants and tasted a variety of different dishes over a period of just over 3 hours. We had a good time sampling the food, learning about it and having interesting generalconversations with the other members of the group. It felt well-paced, and we had a very pleasant morning.
