On Saturday, I took Made In Brooklyn Tour's first outing in Bensonhurst. Not only did I learn about the neighborhood where John Travolta walked in Saturday Night Fever, but I ate some of the most delicious Italian food I ever tasted. When the tour ended, I felt like I got a real authentic tour of Bensonhurst from a person who not only lives in the neighborhood but grew up there.

His enthusiasm is unparalleled and he showed us corners of DUMBO that were a surprise to even this resident of the area. He introduced us to local artists and artisans and based on that afternoon of fun-filled facts I really can't wait to do another tour with MADE IN BROOKLYN TOURS.

The Made In Brooklyn Tour I took was in Billyburg. It was great. The guide was super friendly, had some really interesting places to take us to and took a unique look at both past and present BK intertwined, letting us choose where our tour ended, having more than one option "up his sleeve". A great afternoon seeing a new neighborhood in a way I guarantee you could not see on your own, without his connections!
