Eat, drink, and be merry on our premiere 3-hour walking, cultural food tour of beautiful Mainstrasse Village located 5 minutes south of downtown Cincinnati on the banks of the Ohio River in Covington, Kentucky. Linger in the German village, soaking up the charm of European architecture, a glockenspiel, cobblestone streets and fountains. Indulge in local treats, such as Bavarian pretzels, beer cheese, chicken and waffles, pizza, a tasting of local craft beer and much more!
We promise you won't leave hungry! It’s the perfect combination of dining in a charming and memorable setting with your own professional guide.Food servings are ample and equivalent to more than a meal. This is an easy walking tour.

Had a great day with Laura, owner and tour guide. Her knowledge of this Covington area was spectacular. Definitely a must if you visit the Greater Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky area. Food and drink was plentiful. Never left hungry or thirsty.

They say, "come hungry" and they mean it. Generous samplings from 5 different restaurants in a charming, historic German district, paired with a great guide make this a must take tour. David, our guide, was interesting and knowledgeable. We enjoyed interacting with him. Talking to the owners/ chefs of each establishment we visited was a treat. Be sure not to miss the Pied Piper at the clocktower.

Thank you! I'm glad you mentioned interacting with the owners. Our Mainstrasse tour is unique as most of the owners are usually available to chat. David is local to the area, so he is the perfect tour guide. The glockenspiel is fun to watch and there's nothing else like it. I hope you can join us on one of our other tours!

Great tour! Come hungry! Get a group of 4-5 couples and do the tour! Lots of great food tastings, wine, beer and bourbon tastings! Thanks Katie for the great tour!

This tour is unique because we get to meet more of the owners of the restaurants and besides enjoying the 5 food stops, we end the tour with a talk on bourbon and tasting at Bourbon Haus 1841. Katie is a fun guide. Thanks for sharing on the Mainstrasse Village Food Tour.
