This was the highlight of our Maui trip. This adventure is led by John S., the chillest of instructors and guides with 10 years of experience in kayaking and snorkelling. We were in a small group of 5 which made the experience much more enjoyable compared to large groups with boats of people that pile on one-another. He provided us with the necessary equipment and instructions to ensure our safety and enjoyment. He loans snorkelling gear, and has water bottles and snacks on hand. We kayaked into the sunrise and eventually landed above a patch of coral where there's a sea turtle "cleaning station" (area around the coral where they have fish clean their shells, amazing to see!). He would guide us through the coral with informative narration and helped photograph our underwater experience (a paid package he offers). We saw 5-6 different sea turtles and it was the most breathtaking experience i've had on a long time (and mind you, I have snorkelled with orcas in Norway). I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. This truly is one of the best eco-adventures in Maui. Do have some cash on hand to give him a generous tip, he really does deserve it. If we happen to return to Maui, we will definitely be re-booking this trip with John. Looking forward to having our pictures developed! Cheers

We were lucky enough to have John as our guide. His passion and knowledge about the area was evident, as well as his genuine desire to provide a unique, safe and rewarding experience for his clients. We learned a lot and felt richer for our trip. We really hope to come back to kayak with the humpback whales and John! Thank you for being such an awesome guide John, I know how hard it is as I too live in a tourist resort and know how challenging and exhausting it can be working with international visitors new to the experiences. My wife and I had a great time with John. He took us to great snorkel spots, gave us great info on the undersea marine life and made us feel like Ohana (family as he taught us). Our guide is a well-read and well-traveled lover of people and marine life and left us with a greater appreciation of the world around us. We will take this adventure and it’s lessons with us forever as it was a day we will never forget! Please look up John and turtle town, you will not regret it!
