Fabulous day on the trail! Safety was a priority as was the fun. Guide was fantastic, knowledgeable about the surroundings and waited for the group without slowing down the more experienced riders. Can’t wait to book again.

I had an open day during business travel to Pasadena and was looking for an intermediate e-mtb tour for a few hours. (Hey don't judge, my cardio isn't where it needs to be so allow me an electric crutch!) Two other bike tour places either had nothing going on or didn't call me back but Jason called and texted within a few hours and we discussed what I was looking for and setup a ride in Malibu for later in the day. This surprised me because I wasn't expecting to be able to set it all up for the same day so that was great and was the only way this worked out for me, much appreciated guys! I drove down to Malibu and Jason was finishing up a ride with a family group so he handed me some pads and a helmet while they were disembarking and in about 5 min we were off to the trails just the two of us so this was a great custom ride I'm intermediate on trails back east but not really knowing the trails at all (and a sense of self preservation that comes with age and slower healing) held me back but with a little prodding I probably went faster than I would've on my own. That said the trail selection choices was perfect with long sweepers and some tighter technical sections ( yeah i walked one particularly steep section but I'm alright with it 😂). We were able to get a couple of runs in before it was dark and the view over the mountains and the ocean at sunset was pretty awesome. SO GLAD I did a tour with someone who really knows the area, was able to accommodate on short notice and listened to what I was looking for in a ride experience. Yeah i got pushed a little so we could get more time in before it got dark but getting motivation is also what I'm paying for so overall just a great experience all around. I had to run back to catch an early flight but i would definitely go out Life Rush adventures the next time I'm in the area.
