Not something I wish to experience again - we were packed liked sardines in a minivan that was too small for the number of people and luggage. The driver drove fairly erratically and the traffic was horrendous as it was the rush hour.

They always want a full van, so you make many stops before your own.

We were dropped at the "arrivals" area instead of the "departures".

My booking for pick up from Manhattan was for 2:45 PM, my flight leaving at 6:15. The driver was 15 minutes late, though I was the first. Collecting the other passengers took about an hour, and then, the trip to JFK airport another hour and 20 minutes (the traffic being heavy). Finally I arrived at the airport 55 minutes before my flight left, and was admitted to the flight only by a special favor. The driver was kind and cooperative and dropped me first at my terminal, when I told him I was late. In my opinion, the company must inform the passengers, when booking, how long in advance they have to calculate their hour of pick up to make it in time for the flight. A foreigner in NYC can't guess that he needs to reckon some 4 hours before his flight leaves.
