Captain and crew were laid-back, but informative. We were one of the first boats to bouy up at the manta ray feeding grounds, reserving the best spot in the house. About an hour and a half wait for sunset filled with casual conversation and fresh pineapple (bring your own snacks if you're always hungry like me). Without a doubt we had the best viewing of the mantas, with our blue 'light board' attracting all of the activity. All of the other charters were traveling to us for a peek as we stayed put and enjoyed the show... 12 ft. mantas inches away from your face, insane!!! Warm shower as you exit the water, followed by homemade cookies from the captain. If it's looking to be a windy day and you're here during the winter, bring a sweatshirt for the cruise back to the harbor. Only critique would be to let the guest bring a six pack to enjoy while waiting for sun down, the rest was nothing short of amazing! We will recommend this charter to future big island visitors.

Crew was awesome! I get sea sick easily. I took a Bonine 1 hour before setting sail and felt great through the entire evening. I was really excited about this adventure since last year the weather caused our excursion to be cancelled at the last minute. Maybe 3rd time will be the charm since the Mantas didn't cooperate this year. We saw 2. That's mother nature for you. I will definitely book with Manta Ray Adventures!

This was our second trip with Manta Adventures to watch the giant Manta Rays feeding just after sundown. Shawna and Capt Bill did a fantastic job once again. Two years ago we saw 8 mantas and this time we saw 3. We were the first boat to get the mantas to come over and feed on both trips. The other tours then invaded our areas to get a peek. Great job once again. Highly recommend this crew and tour!
