Capt Bill, 1st Mate Tanner, and 2nd Mate Spencer are excellent hosts; we were well cared for and outfitted correctly. The snacks, presentations, and hot water shower after snorkeling were all top notch and very appreciated. Capt Bill is able to choose from 2 locations to see the manta rays, and uses his knowledge and experience to safely put you in the best location. At the time of this writing, Capt Bill's boat is the only boat in the fleet that has been outfitted with lights under the boat. This may not seem like much, but since the plankton are attracted to the light, and the rays like to eat where the plankton is most dense, this means that Capt Bill attracts all the rays in the area. We had so many rays under us (at one point I counted 9 at one time) that Capt Bill allowed the other boats to bring their snorkelers near us to improve those boat's experience, too. He even turned his under-boat lights off to improve the "ray sharing" with those other boat's snorkelers. The modifications Capt. Bill has made to his boat really make a difference in having the best experience from the time you step foot onto the boat in the harbor, to the time you leave. Their service is so complete, they even go so far as to warn driver's about local police ticketing habits for the drive home.
