Manta Adventures was simply the best. Captain Bill, and Mike and Corey were amazing and very knowledgeable. We were the first tour in the water and the last one out. Even with about 5 other tours out there we were the only ones to start to get the Manta Rays. Then the other guys got smart and started moving their guests towards us. One caveat, Manta Adventures uses blue/ purple lights to attract the plankton which draws the Manta Rays in but is not great for taking pictures or video. Well worth the trade off as we needed to actively move out of the Manta’s way a couple of times. Literally could lick it, but of course we do not touch these amazing creatures.

If you’re visiting the Big Island, booking a tour with Manta Adventures is an absolute must! The evening started with a stunning sunset cruise out to the manta ray viewing area. We even got an extra treat—spotting humpback whales on our way! The boat was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The crew was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, making sure everyone felt safe and excited for the night time snorkel experience. Once we arrived at the site, getting in and out of the water was easy with their well-designed setup of snorkels and float tubes. And then—the manta rays! These gentle giants gracefully gliding right beneath us. It was a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend Manta Adventures. Such an awesome trip! They are so cool to see, we've never seen anything like them before! The boat was beautiful and the crew was awesome. Friendly and professional, and they taught us a lot about the area and the sea life. I highly recommend this it was a huge highlight of our trip to Hawaii!
