Head out in Kona, one of the best places in the world to see mantas, to see the sunset over the water before jumping in to enjoy swimming with manta rays in their underwater nighttime realm. "Manta safari" guides escort you around the site with a mobile light show that attracts these gentle and fascinating creatures. Relax on the observation deck with unobstructed viewing and plenty of room to move around. All snorkel equipment, including swimming noodles and wetsuits are included.

Jan 1- March 31 departure time is 5:30PM and 8:30pm April 1- September 31 departure time is 6PM and 9pm, October 1- December 31 departure time is 5PM and 8pm. You will be placed where there is availability. Please call 24 hours prior to confirm departure time.

Great Time swimming with the Mantas! We were on boat #2 of the 6pm tour with Maddie and Bri as our guides. They were both wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable, and above all, they worked hard getting us outfitted, into the water, positioned,and out of the water. Very impressive young women! Loved seeing the mantas and their underwater ballet.

Friendly Captain and Crew. Spectacular time close up with Mantas, fish and a couple Dolphins passed by as well. Truly a memorable experience.

We traveled to the manta ray viewing location on an excellent fishing vessel, commanded by an experienced seaman. The crew of 3 young men took their tasks seriously, making the experience a good one for all. We saw many manta rays, one in particular doing it’s plankton feeding “dance” just inches from our faces. Only one negative - their were too many people for the trip to feel comfortable. I felt we were a bit squished into a small space on the vessel. There was plenty of space, however, once gathered with our faces down in the water around the LED boards. It was truly a beautiful evening for viewing manta rays!
