This tour was, without a doubt, the highlight of my trip to the Boston area. Martha’s Vineyard is beautiful and if you’re anywhere near it, you should take this tour. We were met promptly at our hotel, and there was a bathroom break about 45 minutes into the tour. We made our way to Cape Cod and onto the ferry. The ride over to The island was great. Once arriving, we quickly got on Tom’s bus, and he gave us an awesome tour all around the island. We saw all the different industry, ecology, etc. He is a native to the island and did an outstanding job. Be forewarned to be back to the bus when Tom tells you to, or he will come looking for you and not be happy about it. Ha. After that, we had plenty of time to eat lunch and wander the shops. We took the ferry back to Cape Cod and we’re driving back to our hotel. An excellent adventure.

First off Martha's Vineyard is a must if you are in Boston. We were picked up 6:30 on the dot and were on our way to Cape Cod to get to the ferry. The bus driver, Kevin, was absolutely amazing. He was both funny but informative about the entire trips details. The tour guide, Tony, that took us through Martha's Vineyard was able to talk about the entire island and its history and make it very interesting for 3 hours. All in all, it was such an amazing day and it is worth while to get both the trip to Martha's Vineyard and the actual tour.

We paid $110 to literally get a bus ride to and from the ferry, including ferry tickets. My husband and I have a car and could have easily driven there, parked for $20, and gotten round-trip ferry tickets for $23. Instead, we paid $40 for parking in Boston at the pick-up location (none have street parking near them) and $110 each to be on a bus with a water bottle and 50 cent cereal bar. I expected a tour of Boston and info about Martha’s Vineyard on the hour and a half ride, but I got a couple Boston tidbits and nothinh about the island. What a ridiculous waste of money. I requested a refund from Viator after being so frustrated. The owner of this tour called me at an inconvenient time, so I asked him to call back the next day. He didn’t— just denied the refund request. Very upset with this absolute waste.

First off, I knew this review was coming. Lets' get the facts straight please. You booked this trip (I guess without looking at any description of what it entailed). You arranged a hotel pickup with us (again not mentioning that you had an interest in driving) PLEASE NOTE: I have told many guests that have let us know that they had a vehicle it would be cheaper for them to drive. Most have no interest in driving the 75 miles each way and take our trip for convenience. I guess we just should have assumed that you had a car when you arranged your hotel pickup. You then took the trip with us, and after the trip was completed you decided to ask for a refund because you said you could have driven for less money. Perhaps you should have read something about the trip online before you booked it. It doesn't seem like you had any idea what you were purchasing. It is very clear online exactly what our trip consists of. Our trip is mainly for guests staying at Boston Hotels who don't have any means of transportation. Though, we also get plenty of locals that take our trip for the convenience factor. Our trip was sold out as it usually is due to the phenomenal service that we provide and our impeccable reputation. There would have been 2 guests that gladly would have taken your seats had you not purchased them. I am not really sure why you think that you are due a refund.. We provided exactly what we said we would. All we did was treat you with the same respect and customer service level that we treat all of our guests. I believe 100% in doing the right thing and treating our guests the way that I would want to be treated. I feel that it would be morally wrong for me to refund you. Trust me, the money does not matter. One more thing, it is only 130pm and I certainly was calling you back today. The refund request denial and the phone call are two separate things.
