Erik and Rachel really went the extra mile for me. I needed one more specialty dive to complete my master diver certification. I live in Utah so my dive opportunities are limited. Because I was in Maui for a business conference I only had three nights that were available for night dives. Even though they didn’t have the dives I needed available, Erik worked me into Rachel’s very busy schedule. Rachel was awesome! She is very experienced, knowledgeable and thorough. I learned a lot from her instruction. I went from thinking night dives were “ok” to “I can’t wait to go on my next night dive!”.

We had already done a few scheduled dives with a different dive operator. Our sons really wanted to do some additional dives but Maui was slammed and everywhere was sold out. Extended Horizons was one of the few places that had a few open dives. We normally prefer boat dives but beggars can't be choosers. :) I was immediately impressed with Extended Horizons because of the fantastic communication during scheduling. The owner answered all of my questions and helped me choose dives based on our sons' diving experience. We decided on a two-tank sunset/night dive. The morning of our dives, the owner contacted us to say conditions were poor and reschedule us for a different day. Again, I was so impressed with the transparency AND pre-emptive actions of the owner. We decided to try again the next night but switched to only a night dive based on availability. When we arrived at the warehouse to get gear, Maiah made the whole process simple and efficient. We learned we were going to dive the pier b/c of conditions. We weren't thrilled b/c we had already done that dive in the daytime but were so glad the dive masters were relying on conditions to make the dive selection. My husband and I are experienced divers and have done soooo many poor dives in terrible conditions b/c dive operators just wanted to get us under the water and take the money. Extended Horizons was exactly the opposite. They are obviously a top-notch operation. Our night dive was good; the boys were thrilled with the nighttime experience. Maiah did an excellent job of taking care of us and making sure we saw everything we could. All in all -- we HIGHLY recommend Extended Horizons. They are a class act!

Fantastic time with this two tank day/night dive. The turtles were a site to see during the day but exploring the dive site after dark with all of the predators on the hunt is what makes this dive special. Will absolutely book again the next time in Maui.
