We spent a wonderful day with Jhon, learning, experiencing and discussing Miami, the surrounding communities, vibrant neighborhoods and the environmental gem known as the Everglades. Neighborhoods visited included the Holocaust Museum and Monument (sobering), South Beach, Wynwood (the art was incredible!), Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Little Havana (the food, sounds and people), Brickell, Key Biscayne and then out to the Everglades. Before today, we didn't know anything about the Miccosukee Tribe, but we learned how they are an integral part of the Everglades and its' history. We were given a 1 hour airboat ride, saw abundant wildlife, including gators, cranes, egrets, and the plant species indigenous to the Everglades. We even held baby gators rescued from the area, raised and then released back to the wild. Jhon's breadth and depth of knowledge of the culture, architecture, styles, art, music, food and geography revealed that he believes passionately in bringing all that the Miami experience has to offer. I would highly recommend him and this tour to anyone - six stars!
