We wanted to see Misty Fjords and thought it would be nice on a small private boat. I will never make that mistake again. First, the captain was 45 mins late picking us up and then went to the wrong dock. It was a rainy day so the water was somewhat choppy. I think he was trying to make up time and the boat was just pounding over the water. At one point he asked my husband to hold the wheel so he could step out and grab the bumper that had come off. Well, we never made it to the Fjords, he said he could not safely get us there and that this was the fourth time in 2 weeks that he had to cancel. The Larger boats had no problem! He took us on a boat ride tour around the shoreline. He was just hired summer help and the info that he was telling us was not accurate. I could go on but I will not. We were very disappointed in the small boat. We have been to Alaska many times and have never had an experience like this.

Sorry the weather did not cooperate. We always try our best to make it to the Fjords, however, our main priority is safety.

Misty Fjords was truly breathtaking. The boat is comfortable and well equipped and our captain Sheldon enthusiastic and informative. Took us to all the beautiful spots.
