Castle Valley is the poster child for western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a movie, TV show, or commercial. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do!

This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful red-rock canyon. As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall.

You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect plenty of fascinating interpretations and fun stories from your river guide on this mild trip!

Really enjoyed this tour. Our kids are 8 and 5 and they loved it as well. The guides were super engaging, giving them plenty of opportunities to help and telling great facts and stories that kept them interested and entertained. The river was pretty mild with just a few small rapids, but the scenery was beautiful. Great way to spend a fall day.
