The half-day trip on the Rogue River through Hellgate Canyon is our most scenic half-day trip. The forbidding walls of Hellgate Canyon rise out of the water at the rivers edge marking a dramatic point of transition into the whitewater downstream. As we float through the canyon osprey and eagles fly over head as the search the river for fish. This trip flows through two distinct gorges and concludes with two of the best class II rapids on the day section of the Rogue River. This is a great trip anyone wanting to learn to inflatable kayak or any family with younger kids wanting to raft.

A well organized and customer focused team got us ready and on our trip through a stunning Hellgate Canyon. Wow! Bryan, our guide, was knowledgable and helpful at identifying birds and knowing the history of the area. Jeannie, there 37 years, added so much to my bus ride to the put-in place. The entire team, who prepared a great lunch and snacks, clearly like each other and work well together. This is a great organization with attention to detail and caring that only add to some of the most spectacular scenery and water I've experienced in my travels. We'll be back - even though Galice Upper and Lower wanted me out of the boat and swimming! Bryan worked sooo hard to make getting back in my raft easy and assuring that I felt safe!
