The whole trip was very well done and we thoroughly enjoyed all parts of the excursion. We would highly recommend this tour.

Booking was easy, nice to get a reminder text the day before. Bus driver was very nice and super safe on the road. The horse drawn carriage tour of the historical section of Charleston was definitely the highlight. So much information and beautiful views to take in. It was engaging, sprinkled with fun facts and witty jokes. Walked back to the the bus through the City Market to buy some souvenirs but be quick because you only get 30 min. Next was riding on the Carolina Belle to get views of Fort Sumpter, the warship, and floated under the Ravenel bridge. Even dolphins surfaced a couple of times near our boat. The bagged lunch was yummy but go to the food bar early before the turkey subs are out if you don’t like ham. I could hear the tour guide just fine on the speakers on the upper deck. Had to stand the whole time because not enough chairs. Last part was Boone Hall Plantation. The house tour was a must see - know that it was not the original plantation house. It was more like a mansion and the antique furniture was also not original to the plantation. After, I rushed through the brick space cabins so I would not be late to the bus. I missed a lot of information about those cabins and its history, as well as the tractor tour and butterfly pavilion. It was very disappointing to have to miss so much. Jumped back in the bus like I was told. And we got back to Myrtle Beach 15 minutes early. Why?

Even though it was cold, the carriage ride would have been much better without the rain. The harbor cruise was cancelled and the plantation tour was so short. The worst part was that someone dropped the ball and didn’t schedule our transportation from Myrtle Beach to Charleston, so we had to wait over two hours in our own rental vehicle at the pick-up spot and then give the driver they were able to find directions everywhere we went because he was unfamiliar with the tour.
