Start at Hot Club, Tel Aviv or Wiskey Republic and then head to the marina out front. Great tours of downtown Providence by boat. They are great. Captain Tom is A+. Have taken with friends and with groups of clients. A memorable experience for all. Goal for this summer is to take one of the Waterfire tours at night.

Before your trip begins, you park in a lot beside a restaurant which is extremely easy to find. You are loaded into a flat bottom boat with nothing to obscure your view. As you leave the dock, the Captain immediately starts telling you the incredible facts of the cities history and how it all came to be. Because the boat is not large, you are able to clearly hear him. The trip is absolutely beautiful. You have the peacefulness of the river and then the grandeur of the buildings saturated along the banks - each it's own unique design, statement and piece of history. Meandering throughout the banks are beautifully designed walkways. I would highly recommend this experience with the Providence River Boat Company and hope to come back again!!

My wife and I took the 3:00PM tour with Captain Tom- Sunny day, clear sky calm conditions. Captain Tom was fantastic! He gave us insights into the history of Providence and the founding ofn the Colony way bay back in the late 1600"s. Captain Tom took his time to answer questions along with detailed information about the port of Providence. Great Value for the cost.
