We were a family group of 11 people visiting Savannah for a family wedding. We were being super cautious about what we did due to covid. We chose this tour on our one free sightseeing day because it seemed safe. The description on line did not say "Hop On - Hop Off". We purposely avoided those tours. It specified a maximum of 20 people! It started off with space to spare, but soon became a FULL trolley, easily 40 people. There was a steady, constant turnover of people on and off the trolley. No less than 8 different people sat next to my husband (as an odd number group, he was sitting as a single in a double seat). Most of these people did not wear a mask. We had 2 grandchildren with us, unvaccinated due to their ages of 5 and 10. It was also my 70th birthday. I was so upset that I couldn't enjoy the excellent job done by the driver, Tammy. My rating in no way reflects her performance. It would have been a 5. The lady in the office, after some research, indicated that Viator had FAILED TO UPDATE their website when the covid restrictions were changed. She would have refunded our fee, particularly as I was so very upset, but could not because it was booked on Viator. I hope Viator will offer to do the same. But, more than that, I pray that nobody in our group becomes ill with covid as a result of this experience.
