First and foremost, it’s what we paid for: a walk through the city, some history on the corners, and the occasional ghost thing. The guide kept things moving well. I will say the history was a little fuzzy and rambling at best. Definitely more “the stories we tell ourselves,” than a historically accurate narrative.
Also, if ghosts were real and represent the tragedies of the city, then we’d be hip deep in the ghosts of enslaved people. None were mentioned on the tour.
