Our family of four (kids 11 and 8) took a private tour, led by Jim, through the riverfront, FQ, along the Esplanade, to Congo Square, and more. Jim was a GREAT guide - fun insights and a smattering of history kept everyone engaged and smiling. He's "punny", which we appreciated (because we are, too!). Architecture along the route was varied and beautiful, and Jim stopped several times to point out particularly distinctive NOLA features. A stop in City Park just past our halfway point refueled everyone's energy and was a welcome break for little legs. Speaking of little legs, the shop had bikes perfect for both of our junior riders, as well as helmets sized for everyone. In spite of the busy city streets, we felt perfectly safe riding with the kids - the city is extremely bike friendly, with designated lanes and friendly drivers.
Would I recommend BuzzNola? Without hesitation. Scott will set you up on comfortable cruiser bikes, adjusted to fit your size, and Jim will show you the NOLA that most tourists never see.
