The Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Ferry operates from 9:00am to 3:00pm with regular departures from Battery Park. You will need to redeem your ticket voucher with a Big Bus Tours staff member before heading to the ferry terminal
This ticket includes a ferry journey to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island, but not interior monument or museum access.
Empire State Building visits must pre-book a time and date through the Big Bus Booking Management link (provided on your voucher), or with our staff at Stop #1

John Harkins was a wonderful tour and made the experience excellent. He gave very interesting and fun information throughout and allowed everyone on the bus get a great overview of Manhattan.

Don't prebook trips. If the weather is dreadful they won't refund. I lost £100.Booked the premium trips, went on the Red route got soaked, even though they supplied poncho, no fun at all so missed the rest of the trips as weather was so bad, even for June. To me a complete rip off and no understanding what so ever when I asked for some kind of compensation. So please be warned and wait until you get to New York

Good Afternoon dianewolverhampton, We apologize if you feel you were heisted by your purchase and although we understand your frustration, we operate all year round, rain and shine. We do provide protective gear for inclement weather as well. Your tickets are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. therefore it is up to the passenger to choose when to utilize the tours. However, we accommodate extensions for those who have multi-day passes within reason. None the less, thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding our tours. We were unsure about using this or the subway to get around. We ended up choosing this as we thought you would see things along the way and it sounds like a great deal with all of the tours you can do. What we found was all of that the times are so limited you can't get to them - most only run 10 - 3pm and even the main two routes finish at 6pm. We always felt like we were rushing to catch the last bus, where the subway would have allowed alot more flexibility and alot of the tourist sites are within easy walking distance of each other. We did the night tour. The route itself is nice and the lights well worth seeing. But the bus was packed - to be expected but we weren't able to sit with our kids, we were the last to board with only single seats available, they didn't give us the option to wait for the next bus which we would have preferred. Kids weren't happy sitting next to strangers so it was a miserable experience. The buses during the day are crowded, half the time our headsets didn't work, it's slow to get around, changing routes isnt simple and times are limited, the guides are hit and miss - some nice and friendly some borderline rude. It's so expensive for what it is .. I'd really think twice about using it!

Good Afternoon JF1612, We apologize if you were overwhelmed by our system. While our tours do have a higher volume of customers, we are always monitoring our ridership, and plan for extra buses during busier times. Unfortunately, being a hop-on, hop-off service, we cannot gauge if and when guests will get off the bus, or decide to stay on and just take in an overall tour of the city, which is why sometimes there aren’t available seats on the upper level. Our day tours (UP/ DT) operate bet 8 am- 6 pm. Our BK/Harlem does operate bet 10 am -3 pm with finishing our service with the panoramic night tour bet 7 pm- 9 pm. Please know these are multi-day passes which allows ample time for our passengers to take full advantage of the tours. We do understand your time is important, and unfortunately, we cannot control the NYC traffic. We do our best to monitor our routes and show our customers the best sites while still moving efficiently. None the less, we appreciate you letting us know about the quality of the headphones, we can assure you, it will be reported to designated department for improvements.
